5th Sunday Youth to Lead

• Every fifth Sunday, our young boys and men from the Midtown and Raleigh Springs congregations conduct our evening worship services. A guest speaker, preferably a youth minister, gives the sermon message.

Harold D. Archibald Leadership Conference

• This annual conference is held in honor of the late Harold D. Archibald, faithful member of the Midtown congregation.  A theme is selected each year to reflect Christian growth and leadership. Events are scheduled the first Wednesday through Friday in April.

M. A. Hull Scholarship Fundraiser Banquet

• The M. A. Hull Scholarship Fundraiser Banquet is the concluding event of the Harold D. Archibald Leadership Conference. It is held on the first Saturday in April. The Scholarship is in honor of Brother Moses A. Hull, a faithful, effective minister of the gospel of Jesus. Scholarship recipients are selected men attending the Master of Divinity program at Harding School of Theology.

Sycamore Bible Bowl 

• Our students prepare to compete in the annual Sycamore Church of Christ Bible Bowl held in Cookeville, TN. This year’s event is scheduled for September 12, 2020 (link: https://sycamorebiblebowl.com/ )

Shared Blessings

• Holiday food boxes are prepared by church members and given to families in the community who are in need. Members of the community may call the Midtown congregation starting the first week of November to receive information regarding food boxes.

• “Return” are quarterly morning worship sermons designed to encourage past members to come back to church. These series of sermons began the summer of 2019 with guest speakers and singers from around the country. A fellowship meal follows morning service. Please refer to our calendar or bulletin for the next “Return” service.
